HOUSING COUNSELING SPECIALIST
Currently accepting applications to fill a part-time Housing Counseling Specialist position averaging 28 hours per week. A Housing Counseling Specialist is responsible for working with potential homebuyers to help them prepare for the purchase of their home and will initiate loss mitigation and foreclosure prevention strategies with lenders. Applicant will also assist clients, and potential clients, in developing solutions in money management, credit and budget and other housing issues and/or needs to ensure that the client is receiving the appropriate services. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills both orally and in writing. Proficiency and experience with Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with one (1) year of relevant experience or a minimum of three (3) years experience in a related field and possess a valid driver’s license.
